This song can from a simple chord progression that I wanted to make a bit more fancy, a 7/8 section that I needed to use and my desire to finally record down some country-ish stuff. Put all that together and it makes one of my favourite songs.

about

This is my final album in my unceremoniously named "Release an album every month for 2012" project.

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who listened to my songs, whether you liked it or not, all I really want from my music is for someone to listen to it.

As far as these songs go I feel like I've finally hit what I set out to do: Jazz--funk, with a little country, blues and chip tune thrown in for good measure.

Many thanks to Steve for the brilliant artwork throughout the year, despite my terrible briefs and thanks to Lisa for mixing (and sometimes singing) all of my music.

See you next year.
