about

This track marks the first time I have successfully written lyrics with a melody, something I've found very difficult in the past.

This song is about having just got back from swimming and having so much chlorine in my eyes I couldn't see the screen i was writing this on. Also, a little bit about missing my girlfriend as she'd gone up north for a few days.

From a musical side this is a really happy sounding song situated on the pop side of jazz I guess and has far less chiptune instruments than I've been using lately.

Many thanks for Lisa and Joe for providing some claps and thanks to Mum for trying to clap.

lyrics

Blurry eyes I can't see you
Got something stuck in my eyes
I tried to see if I could Stand to see you
Sight for sore eyes
